I Lived My Dash Watching '24'

Season Three is in the can. It was a little disappointing: it ended on a good note, so I thought there were more episodes left.

Music Video at the End of My Street

Luke Renner filmed scenes for The Elms' "Nothin' to do with Love" video at the end of my street Saturday night.

They blew up a building. And where was I? At a homeschool convention.

Reduced Now to a Mere Consumer

Jeff M., you stinker, you brought me 24 - Season Two. You knew what it would do to us. You dropped it off just five days after we finished Season One. I thought you were my friend, but you're a... a... 24 PUSHER!!!

You and Nick. Geez. Anyway, we finished episode twenty-four tonight. So now you know why I never call or write. I blame you, and I thank you.

    Hoodwinked: See It

You have to see Hoodwinked! There are many brilliant and funny elements. Some friends have complained about the animation quality, but I found it refreshing.

We've seen a lot of hype [0 1 2 3 4 5], because everybody here is excited about "local kids" doing things at the national level, and I don't mind it. I love supporting new filmmakers and other artists for all the reasons I also like to watch childrens' recitals and sporting events: you gotta start somewhere. Plus, it's another opportunity to expose Ezra to people who are using their talents and taking chances in the marketplace, so he knows he can follow in their footsteps and develop his own creative output, even if it isn't perfect.

Give the movie a chance. They did it! And they've tasted success! It deserves to be part of your comedic lexicon.
